Do I need to leave my house key with my pet sitter?
It’s your choice whether your leave a key with us. If you do provide us with a key, it will be kept secure, at all times when we are not at your property. If we can adequately care for your pets from outside your home with side gate access only, then this will do us just fine! We want you to be 100% comfortable with your decision. You should be relaxing on that holiday not worrying about your home!
If I give my house key to my pet sitter will it be kept safe?
If you choose to provide us with a key, it will be stored securely and kept away from your personal details. When you provide us with a key, it will be locked in our safe, at all times when we are not at your property, and returned to you, when you return home from holidays. If you do not choose to provide us with a key, please note that we charge a $15 fee for key collection / return if it can't be provided at the initial interview.
If I plan to use your service regularly, am I able to leave a key with you?
Keys can be left with All Creature Comforts. If you choose to so this then you will be able to take advantage of our Always Ready Service each time you go away. All Creature Comforts will two copies of all keys required to access your home. One copy will be kept on hand in the safe at All Creature Comforts, and the other one will be kept in possession of your regular pet minder. Keys will have a unique code as an identifier, and will not have any of your personal address or contact details, ensuring they are identifiable to no one but the staff of All Creature Comforts.
Do you have insurance and police clearance?
Unlike many of our competitors in the area, we are fully insured. All Creature Comforts is insured with GIO Insurance Australia, policy number SB93L04450.. It scares us to think that so many other pet sitters operate without insurance. This is so dangerous, as sitters are trusted with your home, pets and personal belongings! National Police Clearance has also been undertaken by the owners to ease your mind.

If we do find that your pet is ill, we will contact your preferred veterinarian. We will of course request that you contact you Veterinarian prior to you holiday, informing them of your abscence, and arranging an account with them for the duration of your time away.
What do I leave out for my pet sitter?
Please ensure there is sufficient food for the duration of our visits. If we need to buy food to get through your holiday, we charge a standard visit fee of $20 on top of the cost of the food purchased. Other items to stock up on before you go away include: kitty litter, pet treats, medicine (if needed), grooming supplies and any other items your pet may need to be comfortable.
How far in advance do I need to book?
We would like at least 2 weeks notice for all bookings, however we understand that it is not always possible, and will attempt to accommodate you accordingly. Like all good things, we do get fully booked! Unlike other pet sitters, once we have enough bookings we stop taking them. This ensures your pets receive the highest standard of care. During the lead up to holidays and Christmas, we need as much notice as possible to fit you in.
Please note that there is a $35 surcharge for all bookings taken with less than 48 hours notice.
Why is there a free initial consultation?
Our free initial consultation is needed to allow you to get to know us and for us to get to know you and your pets. During the consultation we will discuss your pet’s individual needs and design a plan to suit your requirements. This visit is a vital first step in gaining your pets trust and familiarising ourselves with your pet’s daily routine.
I have animals that require daily medication or injections. Do you provide this service?
Yes for an additional daily fee of $5.00 per visit we are happy to administer any required medication.
